April 2007 - Doran Beach (again)

When we visited Doran Park in February, we made note of our favorite campsites. Site 104 was our favorite and we were able to reserve it for four nights. The first night, our good friends Sue and Don from Petaluma, came to dinner at "our house". We were having such a good time, no pictures were taken (next time).

It was quite windy (as it usually is) most of the visit, but one day we did take a 4-mile walk down the beach along the bay as far as we could go. We didn't make it to Bodega Head because of the wind.

On Cindy's birthday, we had lunch in Olema while taking a ride in the Point Reyes area. We then had dinner at Luca's Wharf in Bodega Bay.

The campsite. During the week, hardly anyone was there.
