We spent our first night at Benbow KOA in Garberville, CA. Then off to Gold Beach, OR for three nights.

South of Crescent City, we encountered a 1-1/4 hour delay due to road work.
Stayed at Turtle Rock RV Resort in Gold Beach, OR. This is a view from our trailer. Sites are along Hunter Creek. Ocean is on other side of the bridge (which is Highway 101)
It was really windy, so we enjoyed the sunset from inside.
Arch Rock
Took a short hike along the Arch Rock Trail.

Prehistoric Gardens
It's a running joke between us that Bud never stops at roadside attractions. So he gifted me with a trip to the Prehistoric Gardens in Port Orford, OR. It was well done with scientific information along the way. Having spent hours watching "Dinosaur Train" and "Dino Dan" when the grandkids were little, I was in heaven 😂
Rogue River
We spent two nights at Valley of the Rogue State Park in Gold Hill, OR.
